This symposium features 4 important speakers: Dr. Linnea Ehri, Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan, Ph.D., Resha Conroy, M.S., M.PA, and Kareem Weaver, M.Psych. They will draw on their remarkable range and breadth of work to discuss the research on the factors of linguistic variation such as socio-economics, cultural differences, English language learning and others, and how to address those differences during reading instruction for equitable literacy experiences in the classroom.
