One camp a week for every week in July 2023!
Camp Amicus Overnight Camps are six days packed with fun and adventure. Camps depart on Sunday and return mid-day on Friday. The camp focuses on teaching and reinforcing social skills in a fun and safe environment.
We incorporate explicit and intentional social skill lessons every day at camp. Campers learn specific social skills such as entering and exiting conversation, interpreting body language, using humour, understanding different perspectives, self regulation and so much more through fun and engaging activities. After learning these skills, campers have the opportunity to implement and practice them during their time at camp. In addition, the six days spent away from home naturally builds independence and problem solving skills in all of our campers. With a variety of activities offered each day, there is something for every camper at Amicus overnight camps!
With only 36 campers and a 3:1 ratio of campers to counsellors, participants are able to get the individualized attention that they deserve and need.
