The Outdoor Adventure Camp is the newest program offered by Camp Amicus! If your child loves to get outside, be active and try new sports, this program is for them! In this camp, youth in grades 7-10 will learn to canoe, hike, climb and more while also experiencing a classic camp experience.
Starting with Day Camp, Campers will arrive and sign in at Foothills Academy Society at 9:00 am. They will then spend the morning playing games, building friendships and learning social skills until they leave on their daily adventure at noon. In the afternoon, campers are bussed to various adventures around the city and out to the mountains. They will spend time hiking to waterfalls in Bragg Creek and Canmore, learn to climb at Bolder Climbing Community, learn to canoe at the Glenmore Reservoir and more! At the end of the day, campers will be transported back to Foothills for regular pickup at 4:00 pm.
