Accurate Content and Reliable Sources Are More Helpful

EXPERT: Dr. Ari Tuckman

The good news is that there is a lot of information about ADHD online. The bad news is that a lot of it is downright inaccurate or at least misleading, which is ultimately unhelpful.

We will discuss how to spot the red flags that raise reasonable doubts about what is being said or the source of the information.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify common myths and misconceptions about ADHD.
  • Explain the difference between evidence-based information and common myths.
  • Use critical thinking skills to evaluate ADHD information sources.
  • Distinguish between reliable and unreliable sources of ADHD information.
  • Assess ADHD-related information and claims critically.
  • Formulate ways to educate others and advocate for evidence-based understanding of ADHD.
