EXPERTS: Calgary chapter of the Post-secondary Accessibility and Disability Resource Association, Alberta (PADRA)
This event will provide an overview of information about accessing academic accommodations in the post-secondary environment in Alberta. The information session is followed by an audience Q & A and then a student panel discussion in which current post-secondary students will speak about their experiences with using academic accommodations in the post-secondary environment.
After the presentations, event attendees will have an opportunity to visit the individual booths to obtain information specific to each post-secondary institution and community resource in Calgary.
Captioning services will be provided for the main presentation and student panel discussion.
All relevant individuals are welcome to attend – prospective post-secondary students and their families, guidance counsellors, specialists who may be providing students with the required medical documentation, etc..
