Join CanLearn for this FREE live and interactive webinar and support group: Helping Your Child Make Friends and Supporting their Social Development. Good social skills allow kids to enjoy better peer relationships. Parents play an important role in fostering these skills.
In this live and interactive webinar, parents will learn strategies to help children:
Make and keep friends, Understand social rules, Learn to be empathetic, Learn to assert themselves and avoid fights, Develop conversation and communication skills,Learn to follow expected behaviours.
Participants can expect to receive information in the first half of the session, with the second half devoted to discussion, resource sharing and collaboration amongst participants.For those who would like to continue the discussion and receive more tailored support, there will be an opportunity to join one of CanLearn’s free support groups.
The information portion of the webinar will be recorded and available on our website in late June. This webinar will be facilitated by Catherine Masou, MSc., Provisional Psychologist.
